The idiot proof diet is a strictly diet handbook that claims that they can help you lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Not just the very first 11 days, but EVERY 11 days. Is it truly possible? Does the idiot proof diet truly work?
I was rather skeptical when I first heard about it from my brother.
But after searching so long for a weight loss diet that will work, I decided to go ahead and buy. This diet handbook is a 11 day diet cycle that you can keep continuing to keep losing the weight. So now, after the first cycle of the idiot proof diet, here is my idiot proof diet reviews.
Did the idiot proof diet work? Did I Lose the 9 Pounds?
Even though I didn’t lose exactly 9 pounds but it was really close. I was lossing 8.Three pounds from the first cycle of the idiot proof diet. And impressively, I saw results of the diet on the very first week.
The handbook is really easy to understand as there is no complicated rules or procedures to follow. Plus, besides that that I paid for the weight loss guide book, there wasn’t other programs that I had to purchase besides that.
The food on the diet is easily found and best of all, I could find food that don’t need much cooking so I could get my meal ready in less than 5 minutes.
Diet…Do I need to Starve Myself?
Whenever I spoke to my friends about my new found weight loss diet, they would start questioning me if there was a need to starve ourselves and how impossibly unattainable that would be.
In this particular diet however, there isn’t any need to starve. And…you will be able to eat 4 meals a day! Yes, just by simply eating more meals, your body will be constantly working on the food you have eaten. This increase the metabolism rate of your body, thereby making sure that your body burns more calories as compared to before.
Then, the next question…what are the types of fodd we needed to shun?
You definitely can’t be wolfing down deep fried chicken wings each and everyday and still think that you can lose weight. But you will still be able to eat your favourite food before the second cycle of the idiot proof diet. I will tell you more about that later.
Now you will be able to eat your carbohydrates. You will have the choice from a range of food like meat, which I can’t live without, cheese, eggs and definitely fruits and vegetables. This idiot proof diet ensures that you lose weight without hurting your health. So you don’t have to worry that you will end up becoming unhealthy and weak at the end of the diet.
Alright..Here’s the Exciting Part
You know how you can never stay on one diet for too long? You will end up craving for food that you cannot have. Yes, it is true that what you can’t have simply makes you want it more.
I’ve been on so many diets and failed so many times simple because I would try to last as long as I can without certain food or following certain diet. However, after a month or so, I would usually give up as I don’t see the results and it is just too much sacrifice to give up all my food for something that don’t work!
This is where the diet gets real cool. Once the 11 days of diet is over, you will be able to enjoy a 3 days break from the idiot proof diet. When you are on the 3 days cheat from the diet, you will get to indulge in ANY FOOD. I am currently taking my 3 days break right now and I am absolutely loving it!
Will I Gain Back My Weight while on the 3 Days Break from the Idiot Proof Diet?
If you had followed the diet guide well, your body will already be attuned to burning more calories than you normally do so no matter what you eat, it is burning lots of calories off your body.
Plus, during the 3 days of break, though I did eat enjoy my chicken wings and pizzas, I didn’t crave that much for unhealthy food. Perhaps it was a habit cultivated from the 11 days of diet. Plus, I don’t seem to have the appetite to eat too much because of the habit of eating 4 times a day.
A few of my good friends joined me in the weight loss diet and it worked great for all of us. There was no desire to wolf down all the unhealthy food we could lay our hands on as there was no need to starve ourselves during the weight loss diet. We did eat till we were satisfied and when the break came, it just allowed us to indulge in the food we love so that we wouldn’t end up bingeing on them like what people normally do at the end of a long diet.
So the 3 day break idea is really great…especially so for someone like me. I really don’t have lots of self-discipline so usually, I end up cheating in all the diets I had been on.
This is the very first diet that I went through without having the unbearable urge to cheat. I sailed through the idiot proof diet and lose weight without much effort on my part!

One reason why I didn’t have to cheat was the fact that they didn’t have strict rules like you can only eat this or that today. They give you much flexibility and allow you to make your own choice depending on your preference.
Plus….you will even be able to enjoy night snacks!
Yes! I was over the moon when I saw that. I am a person who always stay up late and normal diets always have me growling in hunger at night. I would be so hungry that I can’t even get to sleep properly. I would normally end up so hungry that I would get up in the middle of the night and wolf down whatever I find in the fridge, usually eating more than I should.
And…You get to drink wine!
I’m sorry if I got you thinking that you will get to down bottles and bottles of beer down your throat each day. You will get to enjoy some drinks. However, it will not be much. Have a glass of wine after dinner would be alright.

It has simple instructions to follow and the diet is easy even for who are looking for a way to start on their first weight loss journey. This is one real idiot proof diet.
